- The penguins have a top-secret Thermonuclear Fusion Reactor Core, which they claim is a mixture of nuclear elements combined with anti-matter or dark matter.
- This is the second time Marlene has her mouth covered by Skipper after she was asking about their HQ. The first time was Paternal Egg-Stinct, when he senses something at the zoovenir shop and quickly silenced Marlene.
- All the things the penguins do trying to stop Gus is a spoof of the Ten Plagues as Moses puts on the Egyptians in order to free the Israelites.
- Gus is revealed to be very devoted with his work and would do it the right way. Gus refuses to take credit or payment for repairs he did not do and is determined to perform the service he was hired for.
- Running Gag: Gus is persistent on repairing the Penguin Habitat.
- Running Gag: Gus keeps calling his muscles his boys.
