Scene I (Gladiator Ring)

Mary Ann slashes a whip, as foosa can be heard growling below. King Julien and Maurice are among them disguised as a foosa.

Thrax: Thrax destroy!

Thrax growls and punches the other foosa

Uncle King Julien: [laughs] Who's a good boy Thrax? Give me a kiss. Who's my strongest, unbeatable, number-one gladiator? Yes, you are!

Thrax: Thrax, foosa!

Uncle King Julien: You are a foosa. And yes, you're gonna help me do my evil bidding and get my throne back, aren't you?

Julien growls

Uncle King Julien: Speaking of disgusting idiots... What's your name, boy?

King Julien: Uh... [growls] Foosa name... uh... (Aside to Maurice) Dude, what's our name?

Maurice: Um...

King Julien: Didn't we learn about gladiators in Lemur School?

Flashback to Maggie the Unwashed teaching a lesson to a class of lemurs

Maggie the Unwashed: And of course, the strongest, bravest gladiator of all was the mighty, powerful... [farts]

Back in the Gladiator Pit

King Julien: Oh... I got it! I am Fartacus! [roars]

Uncle King Julien: [laughs] Fartacus?

Foosa 1: No. I am Fartacus. [laughs]

Foosa 2: I Fartacus! [laughs]

King Julien: What? It's my real name. Rawr! I am Fartacus! (To Maurice) Maurice, why are they laughing at me?

Mary Ann: Lunch! [cracks whip]

(The foosa run to her)

King Julien: It's a very real name. You guys, wait up!

Uncle King Julien: Fartacus? What kinda dummy do you think I am, nephew?

Scene II (Mountain Lemur Kingdom)

Sage's hawk screeches and drops Clover

Clover: Where are we? And why aren't we heading back to the kingdom? Sage?

Clover finds Sage standing at the entrance to a home

Sage: Before we can go back, there's something I need to find.

Clover: What have you got there? Oh, let's have a look.

Sage: Koto and me, before life swept our youth into the dustpan of time. A dustpan held by an hourglass dressed as a French maid who was paid with tears.

Clover: You and Koto as kids? Oh, that is adorable. [laughs]

Sage: What was I thinking with that haircut? Frosted tips?

Clover: Right, right, so this is cute, and, uh, it's fun, and all that good stuff, but every minute that we waste reminiscing is time we could be using ourselves, you know, the ultimate weapon, to get back to the kingdom and destroy Koto!

Sage: Sure, there's just one thing.

Clover: Hmm?

Sage: Koto is my brother, and I don't want to destroy him if I can save him.

Clover: Ugh!

Scene X (Gladiator Ring)

King Julien and Maurice, inside of Fartacus jump in joy and victory. Suddenly, they slip on one snail, who's been thrown by Ted. They lose their balance as they fall to the pit, screaming.

Scene XI (Mort-Verse)

Mort returns and sees Timo and Mom-Bot

Mort: Hi.

Mort is confused that they're in Mortverse.

Mort: Where are we?

Scene XII (Mountain Lemur Kingdom)

Back in the Mountain Lemur Kingdom, Clover and Sage are tied up to each other. Koto ties up Sage's Hawk as his own hawk appears.

Sage: No! Don't hurt my man hawk! PLEASE!!!

Koto: (annoyingly jumps down and then scornfully glares at his brother) Oh, hush you big crybaby.

Sage: (smiles gently) Koto. Brother.

Koto: We are not brothers anymore! (Sage is shocked, that those words are smacked back into his face after he said it to his brother in Koto, Plain and Tall.) As witness by you not wearing our family's name.

Sage: You are my brother! Nothing can change that. Not a name, not even your slightly dated goatee. Look please in our lunchbox... of TIME!!

Sage's scream causes lunchbox of time cradles towards Koto. Koto grabs it, Sage looks hopeful, while mountain lemurs in the background glare in surprise. Koto looks around the box and is surprised. He laughs by seeing the insect and he smells the corn, Sage smiles at him, showing him a tooth that Koto used to give him when they were kids.

Koto: (laughs) That tooth. Oh, my brother, we... we are family.

Sage: (with his eyes dilated) Yes! It is me, Koto! Your brother! (jumps towards Koto) Your wound mate!

Koto: How could I be so... horrible? Thank you, Sage. (Sage smiles and nods) This box of memory... has changed me. I can see the light and all because of this... (he suddenly drops his acts, indicating that he is been pretending this whole time) completely meaningless junk! (In the background, Sage is shocked)

Koto drops the lunch box of time to the ground as he laughs evilly. Sage's smile turns into frown, he looks sadly at the lunchbox, then gazes up to his brother. Koto throws the corn at his black hawk, who eats it. Koto then smacks his brother to the ground, accidentally crushing Clover in the process.

Scene XIII (Gladiator Ring)

Maurice: King Julien! This hasn't be the end for both of us!

King Julien: What are you saying, Mo-Mo? I don't understand! I can get us out of here!

Maurice grunts fearfully, he realizes that there's one chance.

Maurice: (tearful) Get your kingdom back, your majesty. I'll see you again in Frank-Li-Ra.

King Julien: (grunts) Don't you dare! You're my best friend! And you're going anywhere without--

Maurice smiles tearfully at Julien, and lets go of his tail and falls

King Julien: No!

Maurice falls, crying

Maurice: (crying) I love you, King Julien!

Maurice disappears into darkness

King Julien: (tearful) Mo-Mo...

Julien starts crying. After a pause, Julien pulls himself out of the pit. Ted, Uncle King Julien, and foosa watch in surprise. Julien gets up, sadly gazes down, and slowly moves his hand towards the pit.

King Julien: (sadly) Maurice, how am I supposed to do this without you?

Uncle King Julien: (jumps down, furious) Oh nephew, nephew, nephew! You can't even die right!

King Julien: (voice breaking) What are you talking about, Uncle?

(Uncle King Julien's grumpy expression softens after seeing his nephew's saddened expression, but his face is gone as he furiously passing back and forth.)

Uncle King Julien: Oh I'm so mad right now! You're the one that stand on the way on my butt on my throne! You and Koto and a giant army of mount lemur soldiers, and all the wielding odds. And the fact that most people same... (screams) TO HATE ME! Okay, it's...(jumps up to air and screams in rage, with foosa listening to him) EVERYBODY AGAINST ME!!!! (jumps down to his nephew) You get the point, don't you, Nephew?!

Scene XIV (Underground)

Underground, Maurice's unconscious body is being slowly dragged away by someone from off-screen.

Maurice: (weakly) King Julien...

Everything fades to black as the episode ends
