Central Park is the largest park in New York City and is home to the Central Park Zoo. It is home to Fred, as well as many other animals such as frogs, racoons, and opossums. The zoo, which is located within the park, is featured in every entry in the franchise bar All Hail King Julien. The park itself is featured briefly in the first film, and featured heavily in both Madagascar: A Little Wild and The Penguins of Madagascar. Benches and lampposts are present all throughout the park, as well as a fountain. Special events are sometimes hosted at the park such as the Halloween Fright-Fest and the toy boat race.
